I am an agent who has been with RKJ since its inception. Both Rick and Lisa took me under their wings and went out of their way to make sure that I had all I needed as a new agent. They held in-house classes, did one on one mentoring, and when necessary always making sure that they were available both day and night for any of my questions (and there were many). Rick’s knowledge in the business is priceless but more importantly, both his and Lisa’s morals and ethics are what make RKJ not only a place that clients can put their trust in, but it is also a great company to be part of. Prior to joining RKJ Realty approximately a year ago; I had already heard nothing but great things about Mr. & Mrs. Perry and the firm. Needless to say I was anxious to meet with them to see for myself. I was very impressed and excited during the interview process. I had arrived with a list of questions to ask but I didn’t get a chance to ask them, because as Mr. Perry talked and explained the company policy, support, training and the willingness of everyone to help it not only answered my questions but it actually eased any reservations or apprehensions I had. When the interview was finished I thanked Mr. Perry for his time and informed him that I would be in touch to let him know my decision. I never made it out the door! I had this overwhelming sense that this is where I should be. I went back to Mr. Perry and told him that I could not leave until he signed my application because this is where I belong. The rest is history. As for all of the great things that I was told about RKJ Realty and Mr. & Mrs. Perry it is TRUE!!! They are such wonderful, giving, caring and loving people with unquestionable integrity and it is their desire to see others excel in the business. I’m happy I joined the firm and you will be too.
First of all, I am proud to say that I am a Real Estate Agent of RKJ Realty. I am not even sure where to begin. Mr. & Mrs. Perry, thank you so much for the opportunity you gave me. Before I joined RKJ, I had interviews with the big names in the business, but the responses I received from them were very discouraging if not appalling. One of the brokers I interviewed with told me right in my face that I was not American enough to be in Real Estate. To make it short, I went through an ordeal before I finally came home to RKJ. When I came to RKJ, I wasn’t only treated as a human being but I was respected and still get that respect not only from Mr. & Mrs. Perry, but from my fellow agents. Under the tutorship of Mr. Perry, I have learned a lot in this business and most importantly, closing deals. I have quit my other job and doing this full time. It feels great to belong to an organization like RKJ, where an African brother like me can be respected and also earn enough to take of care of my family here and back home in Ghana.
